We all love a treat and what better time to have a treat than Christmas. I love to bake over Christmas and this includes baking oldies that I have been baking for years and finding new recipes. Trago have a fab info graphic with baking times for different tins which will really help over Christmas.

There are endless opportunities to bake over Christmas ! There are a few of my favourites.

Christmas cake

This is an all time favourite and good all rounder, I like that this can also be made a couple of weeks in advance! As it’s so rich you only eat a little bit each time it lasts for a while too. Everyone will love it from your little one to your Nan.

Mince pies

These are my fav and so easy to make and you can make them in batches. You can make your own pastry or buy pre made pastry and some good quality mince meat and you are good to go.

Christmas pastries

These are fab for Christmas morning, with a twist on the traditional morning pastries. We like to add cinnamon and Christmas flavours.

Yorkshire puddings

These are an essential for us on Christmas day and we also love to have them with the boxing day buffet to go with the left over turkey and stuffing.

Chocolate log

This is the little ones favourites and great for a sugar rush for mum and dad with a coffee. The little ones also love to decorate it and put their own stamp on it.

As you can see there are endless baking opportunities and I absolutely love this info graphic guide. It’s so handy to see the timings for each tin etc. Have you got any favourite recipes for Christmas I would love to hear about them.
