Is anyone else so done with Winter right now ? We are so excited for spring , I can’t wait for the little lambs to appear over the mountain and for the daffodils to be in full bloom. I also can’t wait for that Spring sunshine on my face and not having to dress for the arctic before we leave the house every morning.

We love Easter and make a pretty big deal of it , we treat it a little bit like Christmas. We buy some special food bits , have a big lamb roast and an Easter egg hunt. We also go around visiting family and taking Easter egg treats and chocolate for them.

I have wide-ranging ages that I have to buy for and also the nursery teachers , it’s always goo to go to one place and buy them all. It’s even better with a place like Thornton’s where you can browse in your own time and get them all delivered. I you spend over £25 delivery is free and they also do next day delivery which is so handy.

This is my Easter egg wish list for family members and friends this year –

Children’s eggs

Thornton’s have a fab range of children’s eggs including the Gruffalo , space rocket , cupcake , star and bunny. You can also get plain designs and they come in Milk , Dark and White chocolate. The one thing I love about these is that you can get them personalised. I love the idea of the personalised ones for teachers too.

The eggs with a design on are £4 each or 2 for £5 which is amazing and the plain design ones which you can get personalised are £6 each , 2 for £10 or 5 for £20 which is fab if you are buying in bulk. I am personally going to go for the Gruffalo and bunny.

Easter eggs for the adult members of the family

There is such a fab selection for adults and something for all tastes. My top picks are the special toffee Easter egg , the fudge brownie desert egg and the continental statement egg. They all look fab and also air on the luxury side so it feels like you are having a real treat.

Lastly for our Easter egg hunt I have found the cutest Easter bunnies for the main prize. How cute are these little guys?

What are your plans for Easter this year?
