We really love crafts here and I actually really enjoy it too. I started crafting from a really early age with both , we started with handprints and footprints and have done loads over the last three years. We decided to have a go on canvas.
We used the canvases and acrylic paint from Tiger stores. They have such a fantastic craft range in store we are always in and out of there buying supplies.
Handprint milestone canvas
Firstly Archie and Frankie chose the colours they wanted , of course Frankie chose her favourite pink and purple. Archie liked the green and black.
The first task was to paint the whole canvas the lighter colour. They had so much fun just being free reign with this. We gave it two coats and I touched up the patchy bits at the end. They didn’t take long to dry at all. While we waited we practised our handprints on paper.
When the canvas were dry I painted their hands. They love this and giggle like mad because it tickles. I helped them to press their handprints on to the canvas , it can be tricky ! I then used a sharpie pen to write their name and age. They look fab with the background painted and the handprints really stand out! Tiger crafts are such good quality for the price you pay they start from a pound. The paint was also really easy to get off their hands.
I will now add these to the collection of milestone handprints we have from over the years , these will be hung in the play room next to previous years prints. This is such a fab activity for the summer holidays and rainy days , there are so many other things in store to get your craft on too.
We were sent these Tiger paints and canvases from Neat PR in return for an honest review – all thoughts and opinions are my own.
