Silently try and think of a day or even a moment that you truly enjoyed. When you have done this, capture that feeling. Sit back, close your eyes and relive it through all of your senses. This will help you to trick your brain into thinking that it is real, and it will also help you to relive some of your positive emotions.
Look at Photographs
Take out your photo albums and flick through any photos that might make you smile. You can easily look at old family photos or you can look at photos from the day you graduated from university. Either way, the more positive photos that you can find, the more you will be able to relive those happy moments.
