We haven’t really given the children’s bedrooms a theme yet having lived here just over 6 months now I think its time to make a start. Frankie adores pink so when I asked her what colour she wanted you can guess what she said. At the moment pink , grey and white together is really on trend so this then gave me an idea for her bedroom.

I always start with the curtains and take it from there , the walls are already painted white so that gave us the start of our theme. I came across a site called direct blinds which has an amazing selection of grey curtains.  I think some grey curtains styled with pale pink blinds will look amazing and really brighten up the room especially in these Autumn months.

I have found these faux suede grey curtains from Direct blinds that we are going to go with , they are also made to measure which is fab as we have large windows.

Teamed with the pale pink blind they are going to look amazing and bang on trend.

I have bought some prints that I plan to put in white frames and make a feature wall with , they all have inspirational fun quotes on them and the quotes also really suit Frankie and her personality.

We are leaving the accessory and duvet cover to Frankie she will have free rein with this as I think it’s important to let the little ones put their stamp on their own rooms. No doubt it will be some kind of pink duvet and pillows as it really is her favourite.

Frankie loves unicorns and rainbows too so I’m sure we can fit something in with regards to accessories too. I’m thinking a unicorn wall light or lamp for her on a pale pink bedside table to match the blind.  I will give you an update when the room is complete.
