We were so pleased to be invited to see Disney on Ice at Cardiff Motorpoint arena. We had never been before so didn’t have a clue what to expect. Wow just wow it was magical and we were all mesmerised. Myself my Mum and Archie and Frankie went to the show. We are very much a Disney family and I love that.

The show featured some of our favourites Toy story , The Little Mermaid , Disney Cars and Frozen. The little ones really got in to the spirit Frankie wore her Elsa coronation outfit and Archie wore his Finn Mcmissile outfit. The magic started as soon as we walked in the smell of warm popcorn and candy floss was amazing.

There were loads of souvenir stalls too which were selling some fab merchandise. Archie and Frankie were instantly drawn to the snow cone filled cups. Frankie chose an Anna cup and Archie chose a light up Disney on Ice cup. The snow cones were priced between £9-£11 which was quite pricy but of course you got to keep the beautiful cups and spoons which were fab quality.

There were also food stands selling hotdogs , fries , snacks and drinks. This was really handy as my two are always hungry!

We took our seats and let the magic begin. The first on stage were Toy story. We were overwhelmed by the props and the costumes they were amazing. The little ones were totally mesmerised , Archie adores the toy soldiers so was over the moon that they made an appearance. All of the favourites were in the show and I loved the Barbie and Ken scene. The skating was amazing we were blown away with it. Toy story was the longest of the acts but it was fabulous.

Next up was The Little Mermaid , and wow again the props and costumes were out of this world. We loved Ursula and the sea horses. It was all so bright and colourful. I loved the kiss the girl scene with Ariel and Eric. After this act is was time for an interval break which was just enough time for a toilet break and some snack top ups.

It was now time for Disney cars , Archie was so excited and was cheering away. There were appearances from Finn Mcmissile , lighting McQueen and Mater. I loved the cars they were out of this world and so real.

The finale was one of our all time favourites Frozen. Frankie was over the moon to see that Elsa was wearing her coronation outfit. The props again and costumes were just amazing. We really enjoyed it and Olaf’s scene was the little ones favourites.
