Adventures can still be enjoyed if you have mobility issues. So many places are now adapted for this in mind. Over the years the facilities have improved there is more easy access in places.
When planning adventures even getting there can be a barrier for people with mobility issues. Is the train station going to have a lift? will the bus have easy access etc.
This may no longer be a problem as with allied mobility you can buy new or use vehicles that are adapted for people with mobility issues. You can even hire them for the day to be driven by yourself or a family member/friend.
They also have wheelchair accessible cars and work closely with manufacturers including Peugeot, Ford, Volkswagen and Fiat to design these cars. There is something to suit all needs.
They also offer home demonstrations and have a network of Mobility Consultants that come to your home and show you exactly how the vehicles work and how they can be adapted for you. This is great as gives you the ease of mind that what you are buying will work for you.
The wheelchair adapted vehicles they offer are designed with accessibility in mind. From lowered floors and user-friendly wheelchair restraints to lightweight access ramps. This gives ease of mind that everything will be taken care of from start to finish.
There are so many adventure day trips etc you can still enjoy when living with mobility issues. We recently went on a cottage break to the Brecon Beacons.
We went on a at trip to the waterfalls and there were so many easy access points and wheelchair accessible routes to follow. This is great as it means we can enjoy these adventures with elderly members of our family who do suffer some mobility issues. It makes life so much easier when planning a big trip.
It’s so good to be able to enjoy these adventures with out loved ones , they love seeing the little ones grow and develop and it’s great for them to see them explore. I think it’s great that you can plan trips away and know that they will be easy accessible for everyone.
