I love Christmas Eve and always make sure we have no plans or are not visiting or being visited ! It’s a day for the four of us to spend together and get excited !
It starts with the Elf leaving the little ones Christmas eve boxes. I love this as they get so excited and I always make sure I fill them with loads to keep them busy throughout the day!
We always have a new pair of Christmas PJ’s on Christmas Eve too. This year we have been sent a lovely family set for the four of us.
They are from The Pyjama factory and are the official elf on the shelf PJ’s and come in a huge variety of sizes. There are also loads of other family matching sets to choose from on their site. They also have the cutest little slippers too.
The PJ’s are fantastic quality and also the sizing is true to size as that can sometimes be tricky with PJ’s not being true to size and being too big or small.
Go to the local garden centre for breakfast
We have a little tradition of going to the local garden centre for a goof full English. The little ones love it as it’s so Christmassy there and they get to look around at all of the decorations and choose some for the tree. They also look forward to the yummy breakfast too. It’s also not too busy or hectic as most places are on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Eve buffet
Every Christmas Eve we have a buffet and get all the Christmas food out , the little ones love it and think it’s a party. We also play party games after food and just have a fun night.
Watch the snowman
This has become a Christmas eve tradition – we all love this film and for me it’s the nostalgia of it ! It’s such a powerful film yet there are no words ! We love it ! And love to snuggle up in our Christmas.
Make a gingerbread house
We love doing this and it’s one of the little ones favourite things to do , they get so excited decorating it. We then settle down to a Christmas movie in the afternoon and nibble on the house. I think it’s such a fun tradition and they look fab !
*We were each sent a pair of PJ’s for the purpose of this review , all thoughts and opinions are my own.
