We were so lucky to recently be asked to review Electric jukebox by Roxi. We love music in this house and the ankle biters love to have a boogie throughout the day, especially in the morning when they wake up.

The Electric jukebox is literally what it says it is. It’s a little hub you plug in to your TV that comes with a remote/microphone. You can search for and stream almost any music you want. When you buy the box you get one years unlimited music streaming for a whole year. You then have to pay £52 a year if you wish to continue with the music streaming. There is no subscription commitment or account set up.

You can listen to Unlimited Music, choose playlists and tune into 1000s of radio stations from across the globe. The box also has a Sing With The Stars, karaoke-style with 1000s of tracks. The microphone remote can be used for this. You can also play the music quiz, Name That Tune, featuring millions of songs from every genre and decade.

I can see us having hours of fun with this at Christmas time and just in general as a family or having friends over. The microphone remote has is voice search activated which is so handy. You can also block explicit content.

We have had so much fun testing this out and it’s now part of our daily routine , the little ones have learnt how to use the voice activated remote and are having so much fun with it. They also love the karaoke feature and singing along. There really is something for every age with the Roxi box.

What’s in the box ?

  • ROXI hub, which connects to your TV (and can also connect to speakers)
  • ROXI controller
  • USB charge lead
  • Power adapter
  • HDMI cable
  • 12 month Premium Music Pass

The box is priced at £199

We were sent the Electric Jukebox by Roxi in return for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
