With Christmas coming up I’m starting to buy presents and thinking of what to buy family members. Sometimes this is impossible as some family members already have it all so when it comes to a gift you don’t want to be buying the same thing every year or a gift they wont use. I think hampers are a perfect gift as everyone loves good food and drink around Christmas time and there are so many different hamper options these days.
I was very happy when prestige hampers got in touch and asked if would like to review one of their luxury Christmas hampers. I was so impressed when the hamper was delivered it was all in one piece and also had some high quality impressive products within the hamper too. I also loved the reusable chest they came in it adds such a lovely touch.
The hamper came so well packaged full of bubble wrap in a tight box so nothing could get damaged. Delivery was also super quick , they offer next day delivery too which is fab for that last-minute gift or gathering at Christmas time.
The mix of products was fab and there was something for everyone. The hamper I was sent was the Christmas chest and contained –
- Water stop station Chardonnay wine
- Water stop Shiraz wine
- English tea shop – English breakfast tea bags
- Tomato , basil and mozzarella Yorkshire crisps
- Red velvet crunch butter biscuits by Farmhouse biscuits
- Walkers pure butter shortbread shapes
- A mini Matthew walker Christmas pudding
- Reids handmade smoked oatcakes
- Beech’s dark chocolate
- Iced top slab fruit cake
- Mackays Christmas marmalade with cranberries
- Mackays Christmas conserve with mulled wine
- Milk , white and dark chocolate classics box of chocolates from Walkers
The hamper is priced at £74.99.
We haven’t tried any of the products yet as we are saving it for Christmas eve , we have a buffet every year so this years will be extra special. I can’t wait to try the Christmas cake it looks delicious , at the grand old age of 36 I have never tried Christmas cake ! I’m looking forward to a slice with the English tea which is my favourite blend.
I think the anklebiters will be wanting to crack open the shortbread and red velvet biscuits first off! We will be using the conserves Christmas morning to have with our toast , they are a perfect size too as it’s only James and I who likes them we often waste jars by not having time to use them all.
I think I’ll be going on to the site to look for some hamper gifts myself for family members they have so many ranging in prices so something for every budget and taste.
*I was sent the Christmas chest hamper in return for this review , all thoughts and opinions are my own.
