Making memories of home

Well here goes my first blog post πŸ˜€

Let me introduce myself my name is Lianne I’m a stay at home mummy to two beautiful toddlers Archie And Frankie. Who we have nicknamed the ankle biters. We live in Pontypool with their Daddy James my partner of nearly ten years.

Walking through Pontypool park this afternoon and seeing the kids enjoy playing and jumping in puddles, this is one of the reasons we now call Pontypool home.

We’ve lived here since June 2015, I’m originally from Cardiff we lived there until I was 9 then moved to Pencoed , Bridgend which is where I lived until I moved back to Cardiff to go to university. After that it was Portsmouth where I started my teaching career , then Bedfordshire where I continued to teach. Pre ankle biter life I was a secondary Business Studies/ICT Teacher and Head of Sixth Form.

When Archie was 10 weeks old we moved to Abergavenny and lived there for a year until we decided to move to Pontypool. I could never see myself calling anywhere but Pencoed “home” as the plan was always to move there as I’ve never felt at “home” in any of the places I’ve lived over the years even though I enjoyed my time there , execpt here Pontypool is now our home.

I’ve met some lovely life long friends here and of course the ankle biters have too. Everyone is so friendly and down to earth which has contribited to the decision to buy our forever home here this year and build a future here for the ankle biters.

Which brings me on to them Archie he’s is 3 next week and Frankie she is 21 months old. My blog will be mostly about life as a stay at home mum and the adventures we get up to.

I’m new at this but hope you enjoy the blogs as much as I’ll enjoy writing them πŸ˜€
